EVENT DETAILS:
- NOTICE: Please note that due to ongoing renovations and system upgrades, several buildings—including Hudson/Perrin Residence Hall (first-year students)—will only be viewable from the outside during your visit. We recommend returning this fall when classes are in session for a more complete campus experience.
Your Summer Daily Visit will inclu EVENT OVERVIEW de the following:
- Summer Visits are available at 10 A.M. and 1 P.M. Monday-Friday, based on availability.
- Walking tour of campus with a current Northwest student. Come prepared with plenty of questions! (90 minutes).
- Academic Appointment: Select 'YES' if you'd like to meet with a faculty member or advisor. Details will be given at check-in on the day of your tour (usually within an hour after your campus tour; plan to spend extra time on campus).
- Meet with Admissions Staff one-on-one (15 minutes). Offered at the end of your tour or academic appointment at Mabel Cook Recruitment and Visitors Center. Learn about the admissions process and automatic scholarships. From navigating financial aid and FAFSA to helping you complete your housing application, and even mapping out the next steps, we’re here for you every step of the way!

How do I request an academic appointment?
If you'd like an academic appointment with a faculty member, mark "yes" when you register, and we'll do the rest! Appointment time(s) and details will be provided when you check in on the day of your visit; please plan to spend additional time on campus.
Can my family or extra friends come on tour with me?
Yes! We would love to have family and friends experience Northwest with you!
What if I forgot to print my parking pass?
That's okay! Let us know when you check-in, and we'll provide one.
Attire
We'll walk the tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
Severe Weather
In the event of lightning or severe weather, tours may be delayed or paused until conditions are safe.
