Description
Explore majors in Theatre, which include Theatre Performance, Theatre Tech and Design, Theatre/Speech Education, and General Theatre.
The Department of Fine and Performing Arts is committed to excellence in theatre and theatre education. Our theatre faculty are outstanding teachers, performers, designers, and more, and our theatre graduates are given a wide variety of experiences to prepare for the professional world immediately upon graduation.
During Theatre Visit Day, prospective students will have opportunities to meet and interact with current students and faculty, enjoy a campus production, take a campus tour, and even audition for theatre scholarships. We look forward to meeting you at Northwest’s Theatre Visit Day!

Tentative agenda:
11:00 am: Check In
11:30 am: Lunch
12:15 pm: Admissions Presentation
1:00 pm: Campus Walking Tour
2:30 pm: Academic Department Information
4:00 pm: Wrap Up (meet with Financial Assistance, Advisor)
*Optional scholarship auditions will occur after the Wrap Up
**Visiting students/families attending this day are invited to attend this evening's 7:30 play production of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen. This mainstage performance is directed by senior Adam Clayton. Advanced tickets are required (contact Dr. Kreizinger at jkreizi@nwmissouri.edu).
