Description
Explore majors in our School of Fine and Performing Arts (Music, Art, and Theatre) including Music, with concentrations in Instrumental Music Education and Vocal Music Education, Art Education, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Studio Art (Photography, Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, Printmaking, and Sculpture), Theatre Performance, Theatre Tech and Design, General Theatre, and Theatre/Speech Education.
The School of Fine and Performing Arts is committed to excellence in all areas. Our faculty are outstanding performers, designers, teachers, and more. Our graduates are given a wide variety of experiences to prepare for their chosen professions upon graduation. During the this Visit Day, prospective students will have opportunities to participate in breakout sessions, tour the facilities, hear from current students, meet one-on-one with our faculty, and take a campus tour.
Music Students: You will be able to participate in private lessons with our esteemed faculty. Please bring your instrument.
Art Students: Please bring your portfolios if you would like to participate in a portfolio review with our talented faculty.
Theatre Students: You will have the opportunity to participate in a Theatre Scholarship Audition. Tech Theatre students may also want to bring portfolios.
You will have the opportunity to:

Tentative agenda:
9:00 am: Check In at Student Union
9:10 am: Welcome and Admissions Presentation
10:00 am: Breakout Sessions with faculty; private lessons/portfolio reviews/auditions; tour of facilities
12:00 pm: Lunch
1:00 pm: Campus Walking Tour
2:30 pm: Wrap Up (Financial Assistance, Academic Advisor)
**Students will receive their time and location for private lessons, portfolio reviews, and auditions at Check In.
*Optional opportunities: Student Recital at 3:00 PM, Bearcat Marching Band practice at 4:20 PM

Questions & Answers
Students attending Music Visit Day will have the opportunity to meet with faculty one-on-one. Please note this in your registration. All athletic appointments will need to be set up with Northwest Athletics.
