Did you know you could qualify for in-state tuition rates at Northwest Missouri State University—even if you live out of state? The Bearcat Advantage scholarship makes a Northwest education even more affordable for qualifying out-of-state students.
Join our Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Success team along with current Northwest students who have received the Bearcat Advantage scholarship, for a live webinar designed to help you understand the scholarship, eligibility requirements, and what it could mean for the cost of your Northwest education.
You'll also hear directly from current Bearcats about their experience and have plenty of time to ask questions about scholarships, financial aid, campus life, or anything else you want to know about Northwest.

- What is the setting for this event?
This event will be hosted as a virtual webinar on Zoom. The meeting link will be sent upon event registration.
- Who should participate in this event?
Any out of student interested in attending Northwest in Fall 2027 and later who has questions about getting IN-State Tuition Rates. This includes high school students and transfer students. Parents/families/guardians are also welcome to participate!
- How do I qualify for Bearcat Advantage?
The scholarship is available to first-time freshmen and transfer students who live outside Missouri with a 2.75 graduating high school GPA and above.
- What is Bearcat Advantage?
Bearcat Advantage is an opportunity for out-of-state students to earn in-state tuition rates. This program can save new students $9,000 per year!
