First-Generation Student Visit Day
Description
First-Generation Student Visit Day is for first-generation college students and their families. The event will highlight Northwest with a campus tour and information sessions, as well as a first-generation student panel and resource fair. Visiting students and families will have the opportunity to meet with our Admissions staff, Financial Assistance staff, Office of Diversity & Inclusion, Student Success Center, and other services and resources available to all Northwest students.
**Northwest classifies "First-Generation Student" as a student whose parents/guardians did not earn a four-year bachelor's degree.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Hear how the Student Success Center students at Northwest
- Hear from current students who are first-generation
- Meet with Academic Advisors
- Explore the Northwest Campus
- Learn more about:
- Admissions
- Financial Assistance
- Campus Housing
- Student Life
